P101 - Doors for Soo Line 75800-series Automobile Cars
In 1937, the Soo Line received an order from Pullman-Standard for 100 automobile cars. They used Youngstown corrugated steel doors with early Camel Roller Lift fixtures. These doors are designed to be used on the Des Plaines Hobbies/ Red Caboose models of these cars. The model above was profiled in Prototype Railroad Modeling, Volume Two.
