KC104 - Gulf, Mobile & Ohio 35200 series Auto Cars
The Gulf, Mobile & Ohio received fifty automobile cars (nos. 35200-35249) from American Car & Foundry in 1942. The cars had automobile loading devices and carried “The Rebel Route” slogan. They also used the rather quirky ten-rung ladders favored by the GM&O during this period.
The kits are complete “kitbashes-in-a-box” that include an undecorated Branchline Trains box car kit plus the necessary parts to build a prototypically accurate model, including ladders and tubes for the tie-downs for the auto racks.
