K100 – Southern Railway 41’ Low Side Gondola with Flat Braced End
The Southern Railway rostered a large fleet of forty-foot gondolas with extremely low sides that were unusual for this feature. This kit recreates the nuances of this interesting prototype. Kit includes one-piece body, floor, underframe, detail castings, detail parts including brake equipment, decals created from actual Southern Railway stencils and detailed prototype information and instruction sheet. Trucks, wire, grab irons, and couplers not included.
